This morning, the Federal Aviation Administration cleared the Boeing 737 Max for flight after nearly two years of grounding. We braved stormy skies and airsickness today in a tiny helicopter to photograph Boeing 737 Max airplanes at the Boeing factory Renton and at Boeing Field in Seattle.

I spent some time testing the drone in beautiful Issaquah, Washington today around dusk to make long exposure photos. I couldn’t believe that I was able to make a two-second exposure with the drone. It’s completely sharp! As the days get shorter, flying around dusk won’t be so bad, after all.

Throughout the year, nomads in Mongolia regularly move their ger, or traditional yurt, along with the herds of grazing animals on which they depend.
